How to generate passwords in bulk

  1. Set how many passwords you need (1–100) and their length (8–64 characters).
  2. Choose the character types. Every password is guaranteed to contain at least one character from each type you switch on, so it passes typical “must include a number and a symbol” rules.
  3. Press Generate, then Copy all, or download a .txt file (one per line) or a .csv file (numbered, ready for Excel or Google Sheets).

When you need many passwords at once

  • Onboarding staff or students: give each new account a unique temporary password that must be changed at first login.
  • Test and staging accounts: seed QA environments without reusing a single weak password everywhere.
  • Device and service credentials: routers, cameras, database users and API clients each deserve their own secret.
  • Rotating shared credentials after someone leaves a team.

Handling the list safely

The passwords are created on your device with the Web Crypto API and are never uploaded. The risk is what happens after you download them:

  • Import them straight into a password manager or your identity system, then delete the .txt/.csv file and empty the recycle bin.
  • Don't email the file or post it in chat. Share each password individually through a secure channel.
  • For temporary passwords, force a change at first sign-in.

Frequently asked questions

Are passwords in the same batch related to each other?

No. Each one is generated independently from a cryptographically secure random source, so knowing one password tells an attacker nothing about the others.

Can I get duplicates?

At 12 or more characters the chance of two identical passwords in a batch of 100 is effectively zero. With very short lengths and few character types it becomes possible, so use at least 12 characters.

Why does the CSV put quotes around each password?

Passwords can contain commas or quotes. Quoting every value keeps each password intact when you open the file in a spreadsheet.
